HOUSE RULES

Before booking, the Guest has read, understood and accepted the policy.

Dear Guests,

 

Welcome to Ábrahámhegy, at Szivike Guesthouse!

Please read the following house rules carefully, as their observance ensures a peaceful and enjoyable stay for everyone.

 

  1. Arrival and Departure

    According to current regulations, all guests staying in Hungary from September 1, 2021, onwards must have their legally required personal data recorded through a document reader in the accommodation management system and forwarded to the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA).

    Upon arrival, each guest must provide the host with the necessary personal documents (passport or ID card, address card) and pay the amount due on-site. Guests may occupy the accommodation only after full payment of the booking fee.

    Check-in: from 14:00 on the day of arrival

    Check-out: by 10:00 on the day of departure

    Late check-out or early check-in is possible only by prior arrangement and for an additional fee. The owner and/or agency representative will be present at the specified times if required.

  2. Quiet and Family Zone

    Parties and loud gatherings are strictly prohibited.

    Please respect neighbors’ peace between 22:00 and 07:00 and avoid noisy activities. Also, please move quietly when returning late at night or early in the morning.

  3. Smoking

    Smoking is prohibited inside the house, including e-cigarettes, VAPE, and IQOS.

    Ashtrays are provided in the parking area, on the terraces, and in the yard. Please use them.

    Smoke detectors are installed indoors and will trigger even from cigarette smoke. Violation will result in a fine of 150,000 HUF.

  4. Cleanliness and Order

    Please treat the furniture and equipment with care and use them appropriately. Removing items from the house is strictly forbidden.

    The kitchen is well-equipped for preparing simple meals.

    Do not place metal objects in the microwave.

    Guests are responsible for covering any damages upon departure.

    Sometimes, appliances may break down without guest fault. Please report any significant issues.

    The accommodation is handed over clean.

    Cleaning is once per week, including bed linen and towel change (for stays longer than one week).

    Please clean the barbecue and cauldron after use and extinguish the embers with water. Firewood is provided—caution, fire hazard!

    Dispose of waste in the designated bins.

    Do not hang or place anything in front of or on the infrared heating panels.

  5. Pets

    Pets are not allowed on the premises.

  6. Liability

    Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. A safe is available, but we do not take responsibility for valuables left in the house or in the safe.

    The host is not liable for damages or accidents caused by misuse. Guests are responsible for their behavior and that of their companions.

    The playground and garden may be used at your own risk.

    A small first-aid kit is available in the bathroom. For serious emergencies, dial 112.

  7. Security

    There are 5 cameras on the property: at the entrance gate, above the parking lot, at the bicycle storage, and 2 at the pedestrian entrance/guesthouse entrance. The cameras are for the safety of guests and their property.

    Recordings are stored for 48 hours. The system is on a closed network with motion detection.

    Further information on data processing will be provided upon check-in.

  8. Other Rules

    Illegal activities are prohibited.

    No flammable materials or devices may be brought onto the property.

    In case of fire, use the designated fire extinguisher and call the fire department at 105, then notify the host.

    Please turn off water, electricity, and air conditioning, close windows, and fold umbrellas when leaving the apartment.

    Only registered guests may stay on the property; visitors must be announced in advance.

    The booking covers only the reserved days. No refunds will be made for early departure.

 

 

We reserve the right to select our guests. Guests behaving inappropriately or not following the house rules may be asked to leave immediately. No refund will be given for remaining days.

 

The accommodation is self-catering; meals are not provided.

Upon arrival, the following are generally available and included in the booking: toilet paper, liquid soap, shampoo, dish soap, sponge, dish towel, dishwasher tablets, basic spices, Nespresso machine with 4 capsules, tea, hairdryer, iron, bed linen, towels, bathroom hand towels, cosmetic and shoe care products, umbrella, children’s toys, outdoor dryer. Guests are responsible for meeting their own needs during their stay.

 

9. Hot Tub Use

Use of the hot tub/jacuzzi is unlimited, year-round. Please follow the usage rules.

Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

❗ Important ❗ Children may use the hot tub only under parental supervision. Parents are fully responsible for any damage or accidents.

10. Emergencies

In case of emergency, contact the owners at the provided number and/or call the authorities (ambulance, fire department, police).
